I understand US/CANADA is c5 120v and EU/ASIA is c50 220v. I saw a bose companion 5 with 220volts thus the question.
And can its USB plug alone be inserted on a tv usb port for audio?

Do you have a Companion 5 and are wishing to find out the manufactured date or do you wish to know when the Companion 5 was first released?
Regarding your second question, the USB plug cannot be used for audio transfer and therefore cannot be used to connect to your TV for listening purposes.

The Companion 5 was sold from September 2006 - May 2018!
