I had been looking to upgrade my Bose 161 speakers with a pair of Bose 201--but they don't seem to be available here or elsewhere. Have these speakers been discontinued? If so, are there plans for them to be updated or replaced with a similar product in 2021?

It's great to hear you're looking to stick with Bose for your next Bookshelf speakers. I can see the speakers are currently out of stock in the USA but they are not discontinued. If you are outside of the USA, I recommend getting in touch with the local team in your region if you wish to check stock in your country.
