Bose 501 iv Bluetooth compatibility

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to make the Bose 501 iv speaker Bluetooth compatible using the Bose wireless sound touch device. i'm aware that it works on a variety of Bose products but no matter where i look i cant seem to find a clear cut answer for this particular speaker system. i would appreciate any help on this issue.

Thanks, Charlie

Hi Charlie, I'll be happy to point you in the right direction.

The 501 iv speakers are passive speakers so there is no way to make them Bluetooth or SoundTouch on their own. To gain additional features you will need to get an amplifier to power the speakers. The Bose amplifier is called the SA5 and is Bluetooth and SoundTouch compatible. I have included the LINK HERE to the product page for your convenience.

I hope this helps! Let me know if there is anything else we can do!
