Bose Connect 7.0 issue for iOS?

I just bought two S1 Pro speakers and had no issue connecting to both in party mode in stereo using my iPhone X and Bose Connect 6.3.1.

I had my wife install Bose Connect on her identical phone and by that time 7.0 was the available revision.  Even if I turn off bluetooth on my

phone and power cycle the speakers and activate the button on the speakers to connect I can not connect to them on my wife's phone using

the Connect app.  I can see them in the bluetooth available device list and connect to one or the other without using Bose Connect.  But the

app will not connect to them.

I could let my phone update to 7.0 to prove it but I need the functionality and want to solve the problem using my wife's phone first.

Any suggestions?  Is there any kind of known issue with 7.0 for iphone and using party mode in the app?

Hi Carl Morris,

Thanks for writing in!

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and it is something we've seen with iOS devices and 7.0 version of the Connect app.  We are currently looking into this and I would advise to not update the Connect app while we try and root cause this issue.  We will be sure to publish the release notes of the next update on the Community once it becomes available.

One other question...does the app think that the speakers are "owned" by my phone and will not let another phone connect to them with the app?  I did not think this was the case becase in all my experiments the app did seem to be capable of seeing two different devices trying to connect to the speakers and track that for me and let me choose which device was going to be allowed to connect.  But that was all on my phone.  I couldn't see any useful connection information on my wife's phone.
