Companion 2 Series II vs Companion 2 Series III

Other than the exterior appearance, are there any performance differences between these two products?  Do they have the same drivers?

Hello zer0State,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Bose Community.

There is actually a difference in the hardware between these two systems. The series II system has 1 driver per speaker, whereas the series III has 2 per speaker.

As for how this affects the performance, sound quality is always largely subjective. If you can, I would always recommend trying to find a store to test the speakers and see what sounds best to you.

Let us know if you have any more questions about the speakers.

Kind Regards,

Keith L
