I just purchased the Companion® 20 multimedia speaker system, there is a hiss/white noise coming from the speakers. Unplugging the control pod eliminates the noise. Is this a known issue with the control pod?
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I am sorry to hear that you appear to be experiencing some hissing from your new Companion 20 system.
I would love to do what I can to assist you with this. Can you please inform me of the following;
- What computer you are connecting to?
- Have you ensured that all connections are securely in place?
- Does this hissing/ white noise occur once music is playing?
Please let us know, we would love to do what we can to assist you with this.

Thanks for confirming this.
