Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

I have an older stereo receiver. It's a Pioneer VSX-D514. It is not bluetooth ready. I don't own any Bose speakers but I want to get one to connect to my receiver. Which speaker would you recommend and will I be able to connect it to my receiver. Would I have to use a cable that would connect to the right and left sides and connect to the speaker. Thank you

What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

Any troubleshooting steps you took

Re: Old stereo

You would connect it to any of the passive speakers (791, 251, 301, AM5, AM6 etc) through speaker wire.  +ve and -ve to each the left and right speakers
