Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

 

What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

First noticed iphone wasn't working, so began streaming from ipad - about two weeks ago.  Now neither works.

Any troubleshooting steps you took

unplug, then plug back in SoundDock, reboot iphone and ipad.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

 

It is interesting that there was a period where the iPad worked with the speaker but the iPhone did not before they both stopped playing. When you have been using your iPhone and iPad with your speaker, have you been connecting them to the dock or using the AUX input on the back of the speaker?

 

If you are connecting them to the dock, what adapter are you using to make the 30 pin connecter on the dock work with the lightning input on your devices? Do you have another adapter you could test the devices with, in case this adapter is what is stopping them from playing through the speaker?
