Turntable connection

I'm purchasing a turntable/record player (with a preamp installed) and was wondering if my Bose Model AV48 Media Centre works as amplifier. The speakers are obviously connect to this system so if i just plug cords from the record player into the back on the bose, will the sound work?

Hello emily746w,

Welcome to the Bose Community, thanks for posting.

Providing the turntable features a pre-amp, you should be able to use it with the Lifestyle 48 system. It would obviously depend on the outputs offered by the turntable, but generally you will connect a turntable with stereo RCA cables.

I hope this helps!

Kind regards,
