Hi (please forgive my french accent 😉)
I bought Bose Companion 2 Série III in 2014.
Since a few weeks, the volume keeps changing by itself.
You listen a song...keeping cool...and suddenly, the volume goes louder...very freaky!!! 😱
This does not come from my computer because I tested it on other devices.
Do you have any solution please?
Hey @Laurent33bdx, thanks for joining and welcome to the Bose Community!
Sorry that you're having some issues with the volume randomly fluctuating. When testing on other devices, is this using the same audio cables? It would be great if we could test the speakers with different cables.
Does this issue also occur when using the AUX-In port on the speakers?
First of all, thank you for your reply.
Yes, I changed my audio cables...and tried the AUX-In port...but there is stil this problem 😞
There was another post on this forum about this issue:
I'm a bit confused...I was really happy with these speakers...they were my first bose product, I thought I could keep them longer 😭
Thanks for trying these steps @Laurent33bdx. At this point, the best option would be to explore the service options for the speakers. You can do this by reaching out to local customer support. I have the same problem, the sound suddenly increases and decreases.
Technical assistance will charge 60% of the value of the new device to repair.. I don't know if it's worth it because the device was very expensive. =(
Bose should fix these recurring problems that happen with multiple buyers...
