Bose Wave Music System went dark

All of a sudden my Bose went dark. It was working fine one day, dark the next. There is no display at all and the remote will not power they system on. Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with your Wave Music System. 


I would recommend performing a power cycle reset by following these steps:

  1. If there is a disc in the system, eject it whenever possible
  2. Turn the system off
  3. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the WMS. Wait 30 seconds
  4. Reconnect the power cord
    1. If there is a disc in the system that was not previously ejected, the disc should eject. The disc will automatically reload if it is not removed within 10 seconds
  5. Retest the system


Additionally, please test the system using a different power outlet. 


Get back to me once you have done this and let me know if the issue persists.
