is it the eight digit number of the Bose wave itself or the lifestyle base?

 

Is there any way customer support will be able to help if the device was made before October 2015?

I can confirm it would be the serial related to the base. If the system is a Wave SoundTouch IV the team should be able to assist you.

May be a Bluetooth connectivity is also needed which is missing in the Wave II which is one that I have
