Can I add a Bose SoundTouch Pedestal 412534-SM2 to a “non soundtouch” Wave IV music System?

I purchased a new Bose Wave IV music system and would like to add the Soundtouch pedestal base for BT/WiFi connectivity. Is there a connection on the Wave IV  for the pedestal base?

The connection is there, and I'm pretty sure it will work.  

However Bose don't sell the pedestal separetly, so you will have a hard time finding it.  You may be able to find someone selling second hand, but you would have to make sure it's not the older pedestal (even the Series IV Wave has had 2 versions, the newer one has BT and the other does not.
