Thank you for taking the time to post and welcome to the Bose Community. I'm sorry to hear you're encountering an issue with CD's skipping, but I'd be happy to advise.
Firstly, I'd recommend a reset by disconnecting the system from power for two minutes and trying again. Also, I'd recommend the following to clear anything inside the system:
1) Remove CDs the unplug the system.
2) Flip the system upside down.
3) Tap gently on the bottom to remove any dust or debris.
4) Plug back in and test CDs.
