Connect iPod touch to wave

  • I have a Wave system, probably first generation and until recently I had an iPod nano that I connected to my Wave through a Bose dock with no issues. Unfortunately my Nano has run out of memory and therefore I have purchased a new iPod touch (7th generation I think). I also purchased a 30 pin to lightning jack adapter. When I try and plug it in nothing happens.
