Play Bose Wave radio on SoundTouch10

Re: Syncing soundtouch wave and soundtouch 10

Hello Cheech324,

Thank you for your inquiry. The Wave SoundTouch Music Systems cannot broadcast the CD, AM/FM, and auxiliary sources, to any other SoundTouch speakers. These sources are designed to be played on the Wave SoundTouch Music System only.

However, any of the SoundTouch sources found within the SoundTouch Application (Spotify, Deezer, vTuner Radio, and more) can be played on both your Wave SoundTouch Music System, as well as other SoundTouch speakers, simultaneously. You can also connect Bluetooth enabled devices (smartphones, tablets, etc) using Bluetooth. Bluetooth sources can be rebroadcasted to multiple SoundTouch speakers.

I hope this helps!

Thank you.

Hi GZyd,

Thanks for the question!

AUX can now be rebroadcast from the Wave SoundTouch system, however CD and AM/FM cannot be rebroadcast due to hardware limitations.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Any plans to correct this design flaw?

Re: Play Bose Wave radio on SoundTouch10

Hi Dctgroll,

It's not particularly a design flaw more than it is a limitation. TuneIn allows you to broadcast Internet Radio over the Soundtouch network and has an ever increasingly growing number of radio stations. This isn't something that can be resolved with a software upgrade as it is due to the hardware.

There are methods to play CD's over the Soundtouch network. You can do this by using a Sountouch Wireless Link Adapter which can take an auxiliary connection from a cd player or a radio and broadcast this to other Soundtouch speakers.

I hope this information helps.

Kind Regards,
