Spotify problems

After last update Spotify does not work properly. Every couple of minutes music stop for a 1 second and song start playing from few second before it stopped. It is very annoying. I have tried to reset everything and even I restored a radio to factory settings. It did not help. Tried wifi and wired connection.

Every other music service works fine. I pay monthly for spotify.

My radio is: Bose wave music system IV with pedestal.

I've got the same issue, but on a SoundTouch link adaptor.

When I change the audio quality from 320kb to 192kb, under the Settings > Spotify in the SoundTouch app the pauses stops and it can play uninterrupted.

Kinda annoying

Re: Spotify problems

Same problem, just spent an hour resetting, changing network, nothing worked, still lagging, got me crazy...  Everything was working fine before last weekend's update.

Reducing sound quality did seem to reduce the problem.  I was on auto...

Kind of sad to have to reduce sound quality on such an expensive device  in order to avoid lagging.  Buffering problem?

I hope for a quick fix from Bose

Thank you

Re: Spotify problems

For me the pause is almost always after a few seconds into a new song. So a buffering issue seems very plausible.

Hopefully they fix this very soon.

Re: Spotify problems

The update did indeed solve the problem for me as well.  I’am now back happy listening to great sound on a Bose device.

Thank you for sharing the issue.  I did appreciate knowing the problem wasn’t limited to my system.

Re: Spotify problems

Hi, I am having the same problem with both my soundtouch speakers only when they play Spotify. I looked under settings in the sound touch app but I don't see anywhere how to change the audio quality as you suggested.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Re: Spotify problems

Try to update your speaker/soundtouch, that solves the issue.
