Wave III - no sound

I've had my Wave III for five or more years, and it has functionned perfectly, until one day recently, when it went silent.

The remote is largely functional -  switching on or off the unit, changing channels, setting or clearing the two alarms, remembering the programmed six channels, etc. - and the unit keeps the correct time, but no sound.

It's almost as if the unit were on "mute" (but it's not.)  There was no precipitating event when the radio abruptly stopped playing.

I have the same problem . All of a sudden radio stop the sound. Everything else seems to be working. 

Any solution yet?

Trying to find a repair shop, no luck there either.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Bose Community. I am deeply sorry to hear that you are all experiencing this issue and would love to assist further. 

 

Can you both firstly perform a reset on the system via: 

 

  • Turn the product off
  • Unplug the power cord from the power outlet. Wait 1 minute
  • Reconnect the power cord
  • Retest the system

 

Please can you both update me on the result of this.
