Wave Music System IV

Hello - I was sent a Wave Music System IV from the US, but I live in the UK. Is it okay to use the system through a UK adaptor? Or, is it a problem that the UK voltage is much higher than in the US?

Many thanks for your help!

Re: Wave Music System IV

Hey @bcjones,

The Wave Music System IV has a power rating of 120V, which is suited for the U.S. However, in the U.K, the power rating requirement is 240V, so it's not recommended to connect directly to a UK socket. In order to use the system, you'll need a transformer to bring the voltage down towards the 120V for your system to operate.

It's not something we can guarantee will always work but there are third-party transformers out there that will do the trick.
