Wave connection adapter

How do I connect new Bose wave to old Bose speakers with 2 prong connection without replacing existing speaker wire?

Re: Wave connection adapter

Hi HTuller,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

Can you please go into a little more detail about what system you have and what speakers you are attempting to connect them to?

Thanks,

Re: Wave connection adapter

I had an extra set of Bose speakers hooked up to my old Bose wave radio. The speakers connected with a dual prong wire with 1 black and 1 red end. The new wave radio does not accommodate this type of connection. It looks like I need some sort of 9 prong connector. Is there an adapter available to make the existing speakers wires compatible with the new wave radio?

Hi Htuller,

Thanks for posting and updating me on this.

The port that you are referring to does it have the words "Bose Link" above?

Thanks,

Hi Htuller,

This won't work as these systems aren't compatible.

Kind Regards,
