The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Bluetooth issues. Not switching to other pairings at times.

I have found an issue with the Bose Soundwear companion speaker.    I love this product but seems like there are still some issues with bluetooth that needs to be corrected.

Example:   I have it paired with my mobile phone and a bluetooth transmitter for my Denon Amplifier.    I'm listening to my Denon Amp and I want to use my mobile phone to play a song but not thru the Soundwear.     I turn off my bluetooth on my mobile phone.  The soundwear prompts the mobile phone is not available.  However soundwear won't switch back to my bluetooth transmitter on my amp.   Pressing the bluetooth round button on the soundwear doesn't help.    To go back to my transmitter on my Denon Amp, I have to turn off the Soundwear device and turn it back on.   It then picks up right away.

Re: Bluetooth issues. Not switching to other pairings at times.

Hello mtndawg54!

Thank you for reaching out to us here. Glad to hear you are enjoying the SoundWear. You can also manage your connections using the Bose Connect app. When you have both devices paired, you will see them under " Current " in the Connections menu. Try turning off the connection to your phone here with the toggle. The phone will show up under "Previously connected" which you can turn back on when you are done.

Can you let me know if this helps?

Thanks again!
