Thank you for reaching out to the community. Sorry to hear about your experience. Can you verify you have the most recent software for your Skype application? Also, please be sure the Bluetooth on your computer has the most up-date-drivers, I recommend that you check with the manufacturer.
Just to clarify, does this happen with any other application on your computer?
