Phone free mode remove both buds at same time method

Bose say to have audio play in sync in phone free mode you have to remove the buds at exactly the same time? Stupid design. What is the advised method for performing this fiddly task?

Re: Phone free mode remove both buds at same time method

I recommend totally ignoring that instruction.

I got good at pulling them out at the same time, but my brain also got good at combining the "almost, but not quite" identical sounds into weird humming/singing sounds that I only perceived in the middle of the night.

I switched to pulling them out one at a time (I usually put a second between). That solved the weird sound issue and is way more practical.

Thank you for getting in touch with us! I am more than happy to help.

Could you clarify where you have found the information regarding having to remove the buds at the exact the same time?
Any information you have will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Phone free mode remove both buds at same time method

It's in the sleep app, in phone free mode, in settings, second page.

Optimize playback is the title on the page.

Know your app Bose.
