Rubbing Noise On Pillow

Hi all,

I've just had this reply from UK customer support regarding this matter;

"We’re in the process of creating anti-friction decals that can be applied to the Sleepbuds to potentially address the "Pillow Noise" issue. We do not yet have a release date for when they will be available.

But once available, you will be notified by the Bose Sleep App."

Hopefully we'll all have the solution available soon. Meantime, like many others in the community, I have taken to DIY solutions, be that 2mm single sided foam adhesive tape, painter's masking tape, foam ear bud covers cut down to size etc. All of which certainly help. A custom fit Bose made solution specifically for the Sleepbuds would be the preferred option of course.

Just ditto to what everyone has already said. I just ordered the ebay solution. Bose should thank that inventor as well as the tape solution creators.

Unfortunately, the seller doesn't ship to Australia, so I'm left without options since Bose is not really working on a solution for this.

I used Patafix.

Similar products of various colours "Tack-it", "Fun-Tak", "Poster Putty" and "Sticky Tack","Gummy Sticker", "Sticky Stuff",  ”Prestik" and ”Poster Tack".  adhesive putty" and "mounting putty".

Easy to put on and take off. Works great for me. First thought they might come off during the night, but havent had that issue yet. Eliminates all the rubbing noises.

I really like my earbuds and honestly I thought it was just me with the rubbing noise.   

I generally sleep on my arm so my ear doesn't touch the pillow.   Looking forward to the decals!

In the mean time I might try the white tape.
