Sleepbuds cant connect

Hi,

My sleepbuds cant connect to my iphone 7 after i updated it from iOS 11.2 to iOS  12. Why is that happening. My sleepbuds are crucial to me and i need them. Help anyone?

You installed the GM release of iOS 12 and can't connect? They are releasing this to everyone on Monday. This is not good.

Thank you for writing in. We understand the importance of your Sleepbuds, and we will definitely try to help you here. We have a few troubleshooting steps to try:

 

Please make sure the Sleepbuds are fully charged. 

  • Turn Airplane mode on, then off on the phone. 
  • Try closing the Bose Sleep app and re-open it. 
  • Try clearing the paired devices on your phone including the Sleepbuds then try reconnecting.

I've seen the suggestion about clearing paired devices from known bluetooth connections a few times.  With iOS, many BT devices won't show on this list -unless they are connected-.  e.g. The sleepbuds.  So if a user is having trouble connecting, there is no way they can clear/re-pair their buds.
