I agree cwboustred It is dissapointing that Bose dont even offer a repair option. Especially as there are a few vendors on-line repairing the many faulty QC-25's for a very reasonable price. 30GBP I believe. For what it's worth, I am very happy with my Sony XM3's, the noise cancelling is superior to the Bose 25 and 35's in my opinion and the sound quality is more detailed and with better bass response. The app is great too. Bose should be on notice, they no longer have the best product and they certainly don't have the best customer service.

Hi Vermo, Today I just purchased Sony 1000 XM3's because I was completely dissatisfied with the Bose support. I contacted Bose 3 times by phone and multiple emails, the best they could offer me was $189 (exact same price as Amazon AU) for a replacemnt set of QC25's, they wouldn't even entertain the idea of 'upgrading' me to QC35's. The level of care and policy is very inconsistent. It leaves a bad taste and they have lost a loyal customer. Good luck, I hope you can reach a better resolution than me.

That is very interesting DougSea, I am annoyed at the varied level of customer service and care that is provided by Bose. My only offer was AUD189 to buy a replacement set of QC25's. I asked the customer service rep on the phone if Bose could provide 'upgraded' QC35's. He said this was not possible unless QC25's are fully superseeded. I am definately not going pay $189 for a set of QC25s which are near the end of their life cycle but if Bose would offer me a heavily discounted pair of QC35s like they did to you then I would take it. Up to this point, I would consider myself a 'loyal Bose customer', I have over $7,000 worth of Bose products in my house (2x lifestyle sytems and 2x Heasets (one broken)). If Bose can't provide me something similar to your offer then I am not buying Bose again. It will be a set of Sony 1000-XM3's to start with.

That's interesting, Bose said I could pay AU$189 plus shipping for a replacement set of QC25's. I am not satisified with this outcome, paying close to market price for the same product that would probably fail again. I asked if I could pay to get the newer QC35 model which would hopefully have solved the speaker driver issue. They said this was not an option. Very dissapointing experience overall and Bose have lost a loyal customer. Bose stopped returing my emails and the tech support employee was spineless.

I must say, I am shocked at how Bose has dealt with this issue. The left speaker driver on my QC 25's has failed and Bose suggested I pay $189 plus shipping for a replacement set. Considering how well documented this issus is, I would have thought a company like Bose would stand behind their product and offer free replacemnts or repairs for QC25's outside their warranty period. I can buy QC25 for around $200 online so the offer is very poor. Bose technical support stopped answering emials and then the person I spoke to on the help line didn't even go to his superiors to see if a better compromise could be reached. I have around $6000 worth of Bose equipement in my home, I used to be a Bose brand supporter but now I will do my best to make sure my friends and family avoid these products. I used to thnk Bose was a quality company, but looking at videos of the QC speaker driver, it is clear that cheap low quality parts have been used and the customer support at Bose is lacking. Very dissapointing.
