Hi. Thanks for replying. I can't do that as it's completely out of charge so I can't turn on. I have tried holding the power button whilst it's off which does nothing and also whilst it's plugged in (when the battery light is flashing red). That does nothing either. I also tried a shipping reset whilst it was plugged in but that does nothing. I think it's because the battery is totally gone. When I plug in to charge there is enough power to let the battery light flash red but that's all.

I have the same problem as you, red flashing battery light when plugged in, nothing at all when not. Tried all the resets.... When you say we need new software, does your speaker register when plugged into a computer? Mine won't even do that.

Hi, wonder if anyone can help. We have a mini soundlink 2 that won't charge. When plugged in (either to the wall direct or on its dock) the battery light flashes red, showing there's no power. Tried plugging in to a computer and same thing. And device does not register on computer. When unplugged nothing lights up at all. I tried the middle button and holding that for 15 seconds makes battery light flash and go yellow. But then (whether I unplug it or not) the battery light goes back to flashing red. Any ideas???
