Hi People, So yeah, having had this issue for over a year now, i can 100% say that BOSE acknowledge this as a problem and have no plan to correct it in the immediate future. I worked with BOSE over the phone for escalation after escalation (for about 5 months), eventually i got assigned a Case Manager who continued to investigate on my behalf, here are their findings: -Case Manager advises that their support teams (from level 1 to 3) were all able to replicate the issue whereby the BOSE speakers will not connect multiple speakers (Party Mode/Stereo Mode) with a Windows 10 PC, however you can succesfully get it to work on all other devices (Apple OSX, Apple Ios, Andriod, etc).
-Case Manager advises that this is a known issue to BOSE management, however there is no current plan or project to fix this. -Case Manager advised if i want to use multi-speaker modes i would have to use an alternative device to my Windows 10 PC. -Case Manager profusely apologised So here we are, several months further down the track, I use my BOSE speakers souly with my Andriod phone and they do work great. However still bitter at BOSE for literally lying to it's customers about it's compadibilities. (**Mod Edit: Community Guidelines**). Myself, I'll just live with it, the speakers work great, the company are a bunch of liars though, i won't be a returning customer that's 100% for sure. They have completly tarnished their name with these shinanigans. Regards, Dray

Hi Team @bose, Firstly, sorryfor my rudness in my first message, i am finding this issue very frustrating but that's no excuse. Just wanted to clarify some information already provided and also add some additional details: 1) Hardware i am using to troubleshoot - Apple Mac Book Pro, Android Smart Phone, iPhone X and Windows 10 2-in-1 Acer Laptop/Tablet. Then the Bose equipment i have is 1x Bose Revolve, 3x Bose Colour Soundlink (1 Square Orange one, and 2 Navy Blue ones) 2) All Bose Speakers have no issues at all when used with Apple Mac Book Pro, iPhone X and Android Smartphone, issues only occure in Windows 10 **Points 3 to 5 are strictly in relation to using Bose speakers with Windows 10** 3) For Windows 10, I can successfully use a single Bose speaker, although i do have to perform the "Low Volume in Windows 10" work around whenever i want to use it or the volume is far too low. 4) a: When i connect a second Bose speaker to the primary connected Bose speaker, the speakers say "Party Mode" and instantaneously Windows disconnects the speaker and plays sound through its internal speakers b: When this occures, the Bose speakers remain connected to each other, and you can even switch them between Party Mode and Stereo Mode successfully, however they never reconnect to Windows and play no sound. c: To be able to reconnect the Bose speakers to Windows, you first must unpair the two Bose speakers and revert to a single Bose speaker 5) a: As a work around I have tried using the Windows 10 multiple bluetooth speaker feature where-by Windows 10 allows you to connect 2 speakers to the one PC b: using this feature i am able to successfully connect 2 speakers to Windows 10, however it outputs 100% volume to the primary speaker, but the secondary speaker is so quite you literally have to put your ear right up against the speaker to hear that it is indeed outputting sound c: I have played around with all volume controls, in both Windows (Volume control and Device settings) and also on the Bose speaker itself. When you change the volume, only the primary speaker will actually change it's volume up and down, the secondary speaker is stuck with minimal sound output. **Point 6 in relation to the speakers themselves** 6) a: All 4 of my Bose speakers automatically turn themselves on, without anyone touching them at all, and connect to random devices. Please, OMG please! Can this "feature" be shutdown! I'll have them in my bag on my commute, and suddenly i hear "Connected to *insert device name*" come out of my bag, or when i'm home they'll randomly connect when i don't want them to. The only way i can stop this is by turning off the bluetooth on my devices... but i cannot always do this as i use bluetooth keyboards and mice etc So i'm constantly fighting with my speakers to turn off. Why can't they stay turned off when i turn them off? This issue occures on all 4 of my Bose speakers, both the small square ones and the cylinder looking one (The revolve i think it's called). b: This is especially annoying as many times when this occures, i'll be on a phone call, and the Bose speaker will for no reason what-so-ever decide to turn itself on, connect to my phone, and take control of the phone call. Suddenly now the person I'm talking to (which is often an important business meeting and should be a private conversation) will start blasting out of the Bose speaker for everyone to hear!!! In addition, because the microphones in the speakers are not good, the person on the other end of the phone cannot hear me saying "Sorry sorry! Wait, i'm trying to turn this **bleep** Bose speaker off again! It keeps hijacking our phone call!!" c: When a device is turned off, it should actually be turned off! This also wastes it's battery life. Sometimes i won't notice the speakers have, without command, turned themselves on whilst sitting on the table in the other room, and have just been draining their battery for hours on end. Then when i want to use it, even though i've charged them and not used them all day, they'll be down to under 50% power :( As a work around to points 1-5, i can use my Android as my primary music player, however this is not a permanent solution as it drains my phones battery very fast and is not adequate for watching videos/movies/netflix due to the small screen size. Can you please advise if the developers are working on a firmware update to fix this problem? Or perhaps having a Windows 10 version of "Bose Connect" could resolve this issue. I have also reported this issue via phone, my reference number is: "Bose Ref: 117 030 607". Bose support advised Bose is aware of several issues in relation to Windows 10, and this will be reported to the developers for bug repairs. However they also advised, as there was already a patch released in May, it's unlikely these issues will be fixed in the immediate future. Thanks again, looking forward to hearing back from you (hopefully with good news), Cheers, Andre p.s. Typing this reply has been a struggle, your website keeps popping up with an "Authtication Failed. Authentication Ticket Mismatched, failed authentication." message every 5-120 seconds whilst i've been typing this. I'm not even trying to log in or do anything apart from type a responce. Very frustrating, it should wait until i click to login or send my responce before it inendates me with "Authentication" messages, especially as every time one appears it scrolls my screen up to the top of the page and i have to scroll back down to continue my email responce. p.p.s Found out why this was happening. Turns out your website cannot handle having one user submit a responce whilst another is typing one. Now that a responce has been made, i can ctrl-paste my email i was writing and resubmit. You should probably also have a dev look into this issue whereby your website cannot handle multiple users typing on a forum at the same time. Cheers, Andre

Exact same issue here, driving me insane. Please fix his issue before I throw $600 worth if Bose speakers through the **bleep** window. Don't you guys check this in testing stage prior to release?? Works fine on all other systems, i.e. i am able to party/stereo mode on Mac Book Pro, Android Phone, iPhone with no worries. However in Windows 10 it simply doesn't work, if you do manage to actually get the speaker connected in the first place, then fix the low volume issue Windows 10 has with bluetooth speakers, you then try to pair the second bose speaker to the first bose speaker... The exact moment the bose speakers pair and say 'Party Mode!', Windows immediatly disconnects the speakers and outputs sound via nternal speakers. You cannot then reconnect Windows to the bose speakers until you unlink them from party/stereo mode. I spent a lot of money for this setup and it does not work as advertised, please fix!!!! At the very least provide a Bose Connect application for windows! Kind Regards, A dissapointed and angry Bose customer
