Hi, For past a month or so, simple Alexa commands like, "Alexa Stop/Pause" is being ignored by device. Either it replies "I cannot stop/pause" or it just ignores the command (the white flash just goes off ater listening to the command). The only way I can make it work is by re-setting the power and making it start again. I thought it would be fixed, but as it's still not happened, hence I'm giving this info so that this bug could be fixed! Thanks

Nope... i just saw it ... its off, volume limit is also off (set to max)... & I actually re-tried the sound test and I'm sure this time that the sound/bass effect is lower after airplay... So this is what I did this time At volume X, used Spotify connect from IOS app to play audio to the speaker, heard the effect Same track this time, I used airplay option from Spotify app At the same volume X the sound effect & bass are now lower

from iphone if I airplay it to apple TV & Home speaker 500, the home speaker as soon as it starts playing audio, the volume feels really low... then if i increase it to say 50% then It's sounding as same as before airplay ... so in nutshell before airplay = 30% volume = loud enough for me after airplay = same 30% is sounds low, hence if I end up increasing it to 50% then = loud enough for me

Din't get you? if the volume of the speaker is 30% of capacity before using airplay, I ain't getting the same effect as soon as I use airplay. The sound feels lower than before airplay, may be it's only my ears, let's wait and see if any other folks are experiencing the same low effect of audio before and after airplay!

Hi Bose, Thank you for delivering what you promised.... Been throughly enjoying playing through multiple bose speakers!! Though just a quick clarification, the volume of the Smart speaker in Airplay mode gets a bit low, need to get the volume upto 50% to get to 30% volume in normal mode. Is this inherent issue due to airplay tech or is this a bug?

Hi, Spotify just released in India few hours ago...I have premium account , linked it to devices, phones, speakers, apps, macs and even set a preset in the Bose music app and it plays perfectly fine!.... But when I ask alexa to play, I get the above response ... Please advice

Its midway through "early 2019", when are we getting Airplay 2 feature ? I purchased the Home 500 speaker solely because it was well advertised that Airplay 2 will be integrated sometime in "early 2019!"

I'm not from Bose ! you are asking the wrong person, I'm just a customer like you...But if I recollect, Soundtouch products were never advertised to have airplay (I might be wrong, but I haven't seen the company claiming airplay support for soundtouch products of 2017...before buying the Home speaker I did my own research & that's why I'm positive bout this)

lol... I'm dead sure they are working on that promise...The only reason I bought the device was well publisized Airplay 2 functionality... yes getting frustrated it's still not active, but Bose is good brand and been around since ages... So let's wait till march

This is just FYI (so that you can pass on the info to the concerned team)... on 17th Dec'18 Echo devices got Apple Music intergration, and recently Amazon tweeted that other Alexa enabled devices will have Apple Music soon. Me from India and that is only international streaming service we get here spotify, iheartradio,siriusxm etc etc are not available yet... Hence being desperate and passing on this info to you so that your concernred team is aware of various developments and geographical constraints so as to give apt services along with your speakers (I ain't saying you aren't aware, you may be, but my stressing the facts would help you to serve us better :) )

Just try resetting all the connections including WiFi/BT/removing alexa services/deleting the speaker from the app/reinstalling the app and reconfiguring from scratch.... Even then the firmware update 2.1.9 would take long time ... but just dont do anything, put it on for updating and go to bed!!!

I just read that other Alexa enabled devices would soon get Apple Music integration. is this true if yes, what would be the time frame to that to come to speaker in the subject. Also eagerly awaiting Airplay 2 to be enabled in this speaker!
